Grant writing is essential to survival in the nonprofit world. In session 1, participants will learn techniques for acquiring funding while they peer review grant products as a practice to critically reflect on their own grants. Participants will also learn the basics of federal grant writing, including the process of writing a grant, grant structure, timeline, materials, approvals, and requirements for submission. In session 2, participants will explore writing a grant outline and proposal for their organization.
