Peer Recovery Center of Excellence Learning Collaborative: Essential Skills in Volunteer Management: Mobilizing the Power of the Recovery Community
Essential Skills in Volunteer Management: Mobilizing the Power of the Recovery Community is a six-month learning collaborative for Recovery Community Organization leadership, volunteer coordinators, and/or lead volunteers looking for guidance on how to lead volunteer programs with purpose.
The Peer Recovery Center of Excellence in collaboration with the Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administrators is offering this unique learning experience to Recovery Community Organization (RCO) leaders. Participants will acquire skills in designing and developing volunteer programs for their organization, receive coaching to achieve a better understanding of volunteer management strategies, and become part of a larger group of peers working together around similar goals. Each session in the Learning Collaborative incorporates a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
Registration has closed for this Learning Collaborative, however, the Peer Recovery CoE will be uploading the recorded sessions. The Learning Collaborative consists of eight facilitated sessions and six "Ask the Expert" sessions. We will post the recording within one week post session. You may view them on the Peer Recovery CoE Vimeo Channel: or check back here for the latest session recording.
