Peer Integration in Diverse Settings: Recruiting, Hiring, Supervising and Empowering Peer Workers

The presence of peer workers in organizations often enhances the reach and success of recovery support and HIV services. Peer workers are essential to reaching individuals in communities of color, addressing stigma, and connecting individuals to much-needed health and social services.

The purpose of this webinar is to provide organizational assessment and readiness information to organizations interested in incorporating, retaining, training and supervising peer workers. The discussion will also include how to best integrate and empower peers in various organizations, and utilize their services with effectiveness and care.
