Tammy Toscos, MS, PhD is a Director and Senior Research Scientist at Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation. One of her current projects, funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), is a randomized controlled trial of the Peer PLUS (People Leveraging Urgent Support) mobile app and companion web-based platform that supports communication between those with a substance use challenge and a peer to determine if the use of these digital tools contribute to long-term recovery for the individual.
In this webinar, Tammy will be presenting on her project, sharing about the value of research, how to get involved in research, and the importance lived and living experience in research.
