In this session will review basic information about: HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and other infectious diseases; harm reduction; partner services; and linkage to care. This presentation will provide a broad overview of HIV and how health equity impacts people living with and those affected by HIV.

Session Objectives:

Provide an HIV overview
Discuss HIV testing, prevention, and treatment efforts
Discuss health equity implications on patient care and treatment
Highlight new advancements in HIV prevention and treatment
